🔧 Welcome to the Product Improvement Thread! 💡

This space is dedicated to sharing ideas that can make the Infigo platform even better for everyone. Whether it’s a UX tweak, a feature enhancement, or a new capability you think would benefit the wider community—this is the place to talk about it.

📌 Just a quick note:
This thread isn’t a replacement for your formal Development Requests (DRs). If you have a specific, bespoke requirement for your storefront or a change unique to your setup, please continue to raise that through the usual DR process via your CSM or our support team.

Think of this thread as your chance to shape the future of the platform—together—with the Elite community.

We’re excited to hear your ideas!

Additionally, make sure you vote on any features that your peers post that you believe could add value to your business!

    I second this! 🤩

I'm keen to learn from you all as to what would make a difference in the day to day running of your storefronts. The more we learn from our Elite members, the more we can develop the solution in the longer term.

    PRODUCT DISPLAY SETTINGS

    What's the problem?

Some of our storefronts have 100s of products and from time to time decisions will be made, either by us or the customer, to make a UI or UX change which will affect all of the products. It could be some as simple as hiding breadcrumbs.

    Why does it matter?

If I need to hide breadcrumbs for 100s of products I have to open each product one at a time, and make the require change and then save it. This is a very lengthy, and often non-chargeable process.

    What's the proposed solution?

I'd love to see a separate module for creating and editing Product Display settings.

Each group of settings will be given a name (e.g. 'Product with breadcrumbs') and will appear in the 'Product template' menu (Products > Display Settings tab) for quick and easy configuration of a product's display settings, including Custom Product Class.

The link between a product and a Product Display Settings template would be 'live' such that any change that is made to a Product Display template would immediately change the layout for any products using that template.

This means that a single change to a Product Settings Template would immediately update 100s of products.

Not only would this be a huge time saver, it would also allow consistency across the range of products. We often add new products for our customers so to have a template system would reduce the risk of mistakes.

    USER REGISTRATION DOMAIN WHITELIST/BLACKLIST

    What's the problem?

Some of our B2B storefronts want to allow their staff to register to our storefronts via self sign up. They only want their staff to be able to signup however, so if someone not affiliated with the company finds their way onto the storefront, they do not want them to be able to setup an account.

    Why does it matter?

I imagine someone might think "Why not just use SSO? This will fix the issue." Whilst this is true, some of our larger corporate customers do not want to have a direct link into the storefronts as this will open them up to scrutiny from many of their internal regulations and compliance standards. They would much rather have an airgap between the two systems so its clear to regulators they are not within their remit. Bearing that in mind, self sign up with email verification seems like the next best thing.

    What's the proposed solution?

I would suggest that we have two new inputs added into the registration section of customer settings. One called something like "whitelisted email domains" and one called "blacklisted email domains".

An email domain added to the whitelist would be allowed to register, and one added to the blacklist would not. You could also have a dropdown that states whether you use just the whitelist, just the blacklist or both when a user attempts to register.

Once the check has been done on submission, registration would continue as normal.

    Dan Alderman Haha! You're welcome!

This is a great idea! I'd love to pass user registration back to our customers but we've never had an elegant way of doing so. This seems like a really nice solution to the problem.
