Some common queries when configuring and using connect switch
Q: Why are my jobs going to different hotfolders in Switch
A: For infigo hotfolders to work most efficiently it is best to setup mapping in the hotfolders directly in infigo. Whether that is using Product mapping, Category mapping or our most common setup Product tag mapping. If hotfolders are un mapped In this case, our system will just take all the hotfolders (even from other storefronts) and will pick a random one to move the file to.
Q: Why does my order / job say "MIS Skipped" in Infigo?
A: If you're using Polling for Switch then the MIS isn't triggered in the same way (its not required) therefore it will say "MIS Skipped". Please check your Switch app to see if the files have been received.
Q: Connect Connection failed message when setting up the plugin.
A: This issue could be various based on the error message but a common error is using HTTPS when setting up the webhook URL where this needs to be ‘HTTP’ currently as the plugin stands - The format would look like "http://domain-of-your-switch-installation:51088/scripting/webhook-path" where "webhook-path" is the path entered for the Infigo Connect flow element in Switch.
Q: Why is the connect switch plugin downloading old orders?
A: One of two possible reasons for this. 1. You have non completed orders, not set to shipped or complete in admin, so they are left as ‘processing’ and seen as Open orders. 2. Creating new hotfolders on storefronts will probe the polling process to gather any ‘Open” job that has an output created.
