Enhanced Multipart Editor for Single File Uploads
We're excited to introduce an enhanced Multipart editor focused on optimizing the PDF upload experience. This update brings a new, intuitive interface specifically designed for upload-only products, ensuring effortless drag-and-drop functionality and a much friendlier user experience.
This new format will be enabled by default on all new storefronts. For those wishing to activate it on existing storefronts, enable the following setting:
Infigo Settings > UseNewMultipartEditorUi
Checkout Requirements
We've improved the checkout experience by introducing configurable checkout requirements, which allow you to apply various rules that prevent users from proceeding with checkout under specific conditions.
Accessible through Admin > Checkout Settings > Checkout Requirements, these settings let you create rules across multiple sections like order quantity, product tags, and shipping fees.
Additionally, a new debug mode has been implemented, enabling you to review rule application directly in the browser console. This update ensures a streamlined and error-free checkout process by enforcing necessary conditions before completing a purchase.
Improved Quick Add to Cart Functionality
We've extended the options available to our users when adding items to basket (cart) for products that do not require personalisation. This applies to areas where quick ordering is applied, such as adding products straight to basket from a category or featured products screen.
This feature introduces two new settings:
Catalogue settings > Add to Cart Mode
Catalogue Settings > Redirect on Add to Cart
The "Quick Add to Cart" option within the "Add to Cart Mode" setting allows products to be added directly to the cart from search results, categories, tags, and the homepage without redirecting to the product page or cart. At present this is the only option in this dropdown. More additions will be introduced in future deployments.
The "Redirect on Add to Cart" setting controls post-addition to basket redirection behaviour, offering options to either not redirect at all, redirect to the cart, or redirect to checkout.
New Tag Management System
We've updated the tag management system to support special characters like & and +. In addition, we have replaced the traditional comma-separated input with a new tag control and added a tree view with checkboxes for tag selection. This ensures tags can be added and displayed correctly across the platform.

Performance Enhancements
We've constantly striving to improve the performance of the Infigo platform. Here's details on a few enhancements we've made in this area this month:
Language and Localization Optimization
We have optimized the language and localization system to improve performance and efficiency. Languages are now cached rather than fetched from the database for every request, enhancing speed.
Category Navigation Performance Improvements
We've implemented several performance enhancements to address slow page loading issues caused by extensive category lists, particularly for customers with a large number of categories.
Performance Improvements for Shopping Cart
We've implemented several performance enhancements to significantly reduce the loading times of the shopping cart, primarily focused around caching.
These changes have been shown to dramatically improve performance. They ensure a smoother and faster checkout process, particularly for customers using Tharstern and Solprint integrations.
PO Number Entry Stage Enhancements
We've enhanced the checkout process to better accommodate customers needing to enter their PO number after seeing the full order amount, including VAT and delivery costs. The order summary can now be displayed on the PO number entry and approval pages.
A new setting, "Show totals summary," has been added in payment methods under PO – purchase order, allowing you to toggle this feature.

The Best of the Rest
Streamlined MEX Import
We have enhanced the MEX file import feature so that it operates asynchronously, significantly improving performance and efficiency. This update allows the MEX import process to run in the background, reducing load times and enabling an uninterrupted workflow. You'll receive live progress updates, keeping you informed every step of the way.
This updated functionality will be available via all means of importing MEX files into Infigo, including:
- Regular MEX import into an existing product
- MEX import on product creation
- Product import via Excel
Use Billing Address as Shipping Address
We’ve added a new setting in Order settings > Checkout flow > Use Billing address as shipping default value
This allows you to set whether the "Use Same Address for Shipping" checkbox (shown below) is selected by default during a customer's first checkout. This setting enhances the checkout process by providing flexibility in how addresses are managed, streamlining the experience for customers based on your preference.
